Breakout sessions are sessions that will be presented by users for users. There are several different levels of sessions to suit users at all levels: Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced.
Each breakout session at FUSION 2008 will be labeled with a track, target audience, and rubric. All breakout sessions must be pre-registered at the time of registration this year. They are offered on a first come first serve basis. Registration for FUSION 2008 is now open.
The Call for Presenters is now closed. Thank you to all who submitted proposals.
FUSION 2008 has incorporated a level meter to help you gauge the skill level required for each session.
Novice |
The Novice level is designed for those users with limited or no previous experience with Desire2Learn and/or eLearning. Sessions in this category will introduce and demonstrate simple uses of Desire2Learn features and tools. As the conference progresses, sessions will build on the fundamental use of these tools to include easy-to-use best practices, creative strategies, and examples. |
Intermediate |
The Intermediate level is designed for those users with some experience with and understanding of Desire2Learn. Sessions in this category will expand your knowledge beyond the basic practices of Desire2Learn. Users will learn strategies and tips that will make a direct impact on their organizations’ effectiveness. |
Advanced |
The Advanced level is designed for those users with significant experience with and an understanding of Desire2Learn. Sessions in this category go beyond the typical use of Desire2Learn to include creative techniques, custom solutions, and integration with other products. Users will learn and share with others at their level. |
