Desire2EXCEL Program Awards
The Desire2EXCEL Program Award recognizes Desire2Learn users and/or institutions that demonstrate a framework that supports the use of Desire2Learn and how it serves the users' and/or institutions' programmatic needs to enhance the value of teaching and learning at their organization.

- Multi-campus faculty development plan, implementation
- Multi-college, single campus, coordinating effort
- Use of a campus help desk
Program Award Criteria
- Vision
- Greater campus community
- Transform the delivery and/or operation of campus services
- Outstanding leadership
- Pioneering and new organizations who have challenged existing practices by using Desire2Learn in a creative and innovative fashion
- Advancing the knowledge base
- Comprehensive
- Strong evaluation process
- Strong business plan
- Excellence in practice
Instructions and Judging
- Complete the application with as much detail as possible
- All online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses will be judged together
- Judging panel includes Desire2Learn staff and members of the FUSION 2009 Planning Committee
- Winner will receive a $500 honorarium
- Winner will be required to do a brief presentation at FUSION 2009 for the Desire2EXCEL Award Presentation
Participants
The award nominations are open to all faculty, staff, and administrators of Desire2Learn institutions. All courses must use the Desire2Learn eLearning Suite.
