• The Desire2EXCEL Showcase Award is open to all faculty, staff and administrators of Desire2Learn institutions and organizations: essentially all Desire2Learn users
• Individuals could self nominate, nominate a group or nominate peers and colleagues from their institution or organization
• Call for nominations are now open until July 14th.  Please fill out the Desire2EXCEL Showcase Submission Form and email it to UC06@Desire2Learn.com
• All submission must be less then 5 minutes in length and fall under the conference theme of "Expanding Horizons"
• All submissions will be reviewed by the Desire2Learn Users Conference Planning Committee; and short-listed nominees will be notified at that time

Desire2EXCEL Awards Criteria:

All presentations will be judged through audience participation on a scale of one to ten based on the following criteria:

1. Relevance – Presentations should be relevant to the conference theme "Expanding Horizons" and to Desire2Learn technology.
2. Entertainment Value – Creatively designed and delivered presentations.
3. Educational Value – Did this presentation enlighten our users and provide them with a new tool, idea or concept that they can take back to their institutions.
4. Quality Level – Was there a high degree of effort, thought and time put into this presentation?
