What is a conference track?

University Centre Conference tracks are general topics under which a presenter would create a session relating back to the general theme of the track.


2006 Users Conference Tracks:

  • Teaching with Desire2Learn - Tracks (related to both K-12 & Higher Education) specifically geared towards teaching with Desire2Learn. This track may be of interest to instructors and course designers
     
  • Administration - Topics ranging from installation of Desire2Learn to advanced platform administration, including sessions on such themes as exploring security, privacy or accessibility issues
     
  • Technology – Demonstrations and "How To" sessions on how Desire2Learn technology can be used (for example, on how to incorporate graphics and animations into your online courses)
     
  • Supporting/Training Desire2Learn Users – Sessions on such topics as your organization's use of Help Desk protocols, common user issues, and training sessions for beginner, intermediate and advanced users
     
  • Desire2Learn Tracks – Sessions led by Desire2Learn staff about product direction, including LOR, LiveRoom and many other hot topics
     
  • Hands-On Workshops (Basic to Advanced) – Interactive, hands-on and seminar style workshops on a wide variety of topics, such as setting up your course, LOR, login customization, using SCORM, etc.
