Desire2Learn Reveals Nominees of the Desire2EXCEL Awards for 2009

SYNOPSIS: Desire2Learn users exemplifying outstanding leadership and innovation to be recognized at FUSION 2009, 'The Art of Learning,' Minneapolis-Saint Paul

The annual Desire2EXCEL Awards Program recognizes the host of Desire2Learn users and the leading edge contributions they make toward their respective organizations and the eLearning community. This year's nominees are:

The nominees compete in one of three categories:

Desire2EXCEL Teaching and Learning Award - This award recognizes Desire2Learn users who have created and designed exceptional online courses that enhance teaching and learning at their organizations, and contribute to the overall success of eLearning.

Desire2EXCEL Program Award - This award recognizes Desire2Learn users who have created and/or designed an online learning program that demonstrates innovation and enhances teaching and learning at their organizations.

Desire2EXCEL Community Service Award - This award recognizes Desire2Learn users who have fostered leadership, commitment and continued online collaboration within their own communities.

Entries for all three categories will be reviewed and judged by the Awards Committee, composed of a cross-section of Desire2Learn clients from K-12, higher education, government and corporations. Nominees will be showcased during the Sixth Annual Desire2Learn Users' Conference, FUSION 2009, July 13 - 17 in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, Minnesota. Each winner will receive their choice of an Honorarium or other notable awards.
