The nominees compete in one of three categories:
Desire2EXCEL Teaching and Learning Award – This award recognizes Desire2Learn users who have created and designed exceptional online courses that enhance teaching and learning at their organizations, and contribute to the overall success of eLearning.
Desire2EXCEL Program Award – This award recognizes Desire2Learn users who have created and/or designed an online learning program that demonstrates innovation and enhances teaching and learning at their organizations.
Desire2EXCEL Community Award – This award recognizes Desire2Learn users who have fostered leadership, commitment and continued online collaboration within their own communities.
Entries for all three categories will be reviewed and judged by the Awards Committee, composed of a cross-section of Desire2Learn clients from K-12, higher education, government and corporations. Nominees will have the opportunity to be showcased at the Client Showcase during the Fifth Annual Desire2Learn Users Conference, FUSION 2008, July 20 – 23 in Memphis, Tennessee. All winning individuals or groups will present at the FUSION Desire2EXCEL Award Presentations. Each winner will receive their choice of an Honorarium or other great awards.
